This class will provide you with a solid understanding of NOA documentation regardless of your role in construction. -The entire approval process along with required documentation will be played out step by step to explain why it usually take months for a manufacturer to obtain an NOA. This will include the process for new product, renewal, as well as revision. -We will start the NOA explanation with the cover page, then leading to drawing information, test reports, calculations, quality assurance, and materials certifications. -Installation conditions on an NOA will be thoroughly explained, including things such as allowable anchors, edge distance requirements, maximum shim sizing, and types of substrates. -Large and small missile requirements to meet the ASTM E1996 Standard will be thoroughly explained and demonstrated through the use of videos. -The importance of reading ALL the notes will be emphasized as not all NOA's are created equal. 1 hour - 1 CEU Course Hour for AIA
