Summer Music Camps at KMAC are modern band experience camps based on collaboration, learning something new & having FUN! Already play in your church’s contemporary music group? Join us to expand your repertoire and maybe try something new! Hoping to join a praise band? Let us help you get ready to audition! Just want to play in a contemporary worship band for a week? This is the week for you! Like our other music camps, you’ll be playing in a band starting from day one. Lots of ensemble time will be punctuated with individual instruction from talented and experienced instructors. Learn new tunes and try something new. Depending on campers’ skills and interests, additional topics explored may include songwriting, improvisation, recording, live sound basics, trying other instruments and maybe even a music collab video. < Up to $100 in DISCOUNTS available - see below for details. > ---------------------- For students entering grades 7-12 (Students outside this range may be allowed, pending consultation)For all levels except total beginners (At least one year of lessons or the equivalent recommended)All instruments welcome – Vocals, Guitar, Bass, Drums, Keyboard, Brass, Woodwind, Strings, Percussion – just check with us first if your main instrument is more “unusual”These will be small camps, no more than 10 participants in each camp (due to COVID restrictions and the number of headphone outputs available). Four participants minimum. ---------------------- Camp times Mon-Thu: 9am-3pmFriday: 9am-5:30pm (performance at 5pm)Bring a lunch Mon-Thu.
