Help beautify the zoo with this family-friendly, community volunteer event. We need help with raking, planting, spreading mulch and more! Family/Community Volunteer Day at Potter Park Zoo! This family-friendly event encourages COMMUNITY and the importance of caring for our planet through ACTION! Volunteers will help with a variety of projects around the zoo including raking, planting flowers and spreading mulch. Tools will be provided but if you have your own lawn tools, feel free to bring them. Following your service time, volunteer families are welcome to enjoy the zoo. The deadline to sign up is May 13th at 5 PM and spots are limited so sign up today! Who can volunteer: Individuals, Families (children ages 8 and up) Commitment: Come for a shift in the morning: 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM or in the afternoon: 2:00 PM-4:00 PM.
