We have 4 immediate openings for the perfect candidates in the following position: Fire Safety Equipment Field Technician Join this unique, small team, working on different ships around the world, and no day is like the day before! Always something new to learn, somewhere to go, and people to meet. It's a skilled position and we will provide you the hands-on training you need to succeed as an apprentice. REQUIREMENTS: Mechanical aptitude, ability to work with hand tools Washington State Driver License with clear 3 year abstract Valid US Passport or ability to obtain passport once hired Pre-employment background screening What the position entails: We are a small business providing fire and safety equipment inspections and service to the commercial fishing, government, and private marine industry. Training will be provided, and no experience is necessary. Hours will be full time, Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm plus overtime as needed Overtime and out-of-town / international travel as needed will be mandatory on certain occasions, and may be with little to no notice. There is travel required with this position, one to two weeks at a time, and candidates must have the ability to travel on short notice. Some travel locations include Guam, Philippines, Thailand, South Korea, Dubai, Florida, Alaska, Oregon, California, Alabama, etc. Approximate travel time per year is 8 - 12 weeks total per year, spread throughout.
