Poulsbo RV opened in 1986 and is one of the largest high volume dealers in the nation and carries all major brands of RVs. Our Fife location is looking for full time RV Service Technician, experience preferred. At Poulsbo we make quality workmanship and customer satisfaction a priority. Job tasks include servicing and repairing all makes and models of RVs. We do not work on engines or chassis. Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and your own tools. Forklift experience is a plus. Location: Fife, Washington The ideal applicant has a good mechanical background and can successfully perform duties equivalent to general handy man work. As a Service Technician duties include: • Readies RVs & trailers for customer delivery • Repairs and maintains LP appliances such as refrigerators, water heaters, & furnaces • Makes repairs using general carpentry, wood working, upholstery techniques • Diagnoses, rebuilds and repairs recreational vehicles and equipment • Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of recreational vehicles • Performs scheduled maintenance repairs of recreational vehicles • Performs simple machinist duties and responsibilities • Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of recreational vehicles • Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform work • Diagnoses problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments • Performs a variety of service technician functions • Uses a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties • Detects faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision • Complies with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas • Prepares reports, repair orders, mechanical notes • Performs all other duties as assigned or needed Requirements: • Requires a high school diploma/GED • Current relevant experience • Able to lift 75 pounds with heavier weight necessary at times • Open and available to working evenings and weekends.
