Western Neon is looking for a motivated and hard working individual to fill a position within our fabrication department. This is a full time position that works directly with our Lead Fabricator to fabricate new projects. Duties would include the following: - Production of signs using artwork and/or written instructions utilizing manual or computerized equipment - Material cutting, prepping, sanding, riveting, fastening, welding, adhering, etc. - Communication with employees, positive attitude and ability to work well with others - Working in a standard shop environment, which can include, but is not limited to working with dust, fumes, exhaust, various noise levels, various temperatures and chemicals - Safe operation of fabrication tools such as grinders, sanders, table saws, chop saws, routers, drill press, drills, etc. - Lifting, loading, unloading heavy materials/objects both unfinished goods as well as completed signs - Operating/maintaining tools and equipment - Opportunity to learn new equipment and cross train in other departments - Most importantly, maintaining a clean, efficient and safe work environment We believe in hard work, dedication to craft, and creative collaboration.
