Description
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — Two of Montgomery County's largest and longest-standing community vaccine clinics are moving into malls in the coming days, officials announced this week. The changes will go into effect on May 3
The site formerly located at Norristown Area High School is shifting into the old JC Penney's building at the King of Prussia Mall, at 160 N. Gulph Road.
Meanwhile, the former site at Montgomery County Community College in Blue Bell is moving into the former Sears building at the Montgomery Mall.
The sites will "better serve our residents," Commissioner Val Arkoosh said.
If residents had an existing second dose appointment at either Norristown Area High School or the community college, that appointment has been automatically shifted to the new location.
There are a total of seven clinic locations now, as the county opened a new walk-up only clinic in Norristown for Johnson & Johnson shots on Wednesday.
To see a full list of operating clinics and to register for a vaccine, see the county's website here.
