GLEN ELLYN, IL —In Glen Ellyn, the number of coronavirus cases has increased by 37 cases in the past eight days, according to information from the DuPage County Health Department (DCHD). The numbers reflect a decrease over the previous week, in which Glen Ellyn saw 48 new coronavirus cases. On April 20, the village had reported 3,088 total cases of the new coronavirus. Those numbers had increased to 3, 125 as of April 20, reflecting an overall increase of 1.2 percent. The previous week's increase was 1.6 percent. DCHD recently began sharing the number of probable coronavirus cases in each municipality. In Glen Ellyn, there have been 220 probable coronavirus cases.
