Press release from the City of Northfield: April 28, 2021 Thank you to everyone who participated and patiently waited in line at our paper-shredding event on Saturday! The demand was beyond our expectations. We will do this event annually in April, but will make some adjustments for the future to help move things along! We collected about 9,500 pound of paper. That means by shredding and recycling, we helped save: 80.75 trees 33,250 gallons of water 14.25 cubic yards of landfill 2.38 years of energy for the average home Gracias a todos los que participaron y esperaron pacientemente en la fila de nuestro evento de trituración de papel del sábado.
