ELMHURST, IL — In the last few days, Elmhurst police arrested three men on DUI charges. Here is information from the reports:
Daniel V. Zawada, 71, of Elmhurst, was arrested about 2 a.m. Monday at St. Charles and York on a charge of DUI. He was released on bond. According to a police report, an officer saw Zawada asleep behind the wheel. Zachary R. Arellano, 29, of Villa Park, was arrested about 11 p.m. Monday at Third and Addison on charges of aggravated DUI, driving with a suspended license, possession of marijuana by a driver and disobeying a stop sign. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.Ronnell Patton, 28, of Naperville, was arrested about 3 a.m. Wednesday at Roosevelt and York on charges of DUI and disobeying a police officer. He was released on bond. According to a police report, an officer found Patton asleep behind the wheel. Patton then woke up and drove a short distance before coming to a complete stop.
