RPM Property Management is seeking an experienced apartment Maintenance Technician for a portfolio consisting of 210 apartment units and 10,000 square feet of retail. The portfolio covers five properties in Arvada and Littleton. The successful candidate will report to the Maintenance Supervisor. We are a boutique, family run, professional property management company that currently manages five properties in the Metro Denver area. We pride ourselves in ethically providing a quality product at a fair price to our residents. We are seeking a motivated, self-driven technician to join our Colorado team. DUTIES AND RESONSIBILITIES · General apartment maintenance · Apartment unit make-readies · Common area cleaning and grounds keeping · Vacant unit and common area painting · Snow shoveling as needed · Assist with resident relations by performing work cleanly and efficiently · Minimize unit downtime to maximize revenue and assure units are move-in ready · Assure properties are maintained to protect and increase asset value · May be required to respond to emergencies, including after hours MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS · High school diploma · Minimum 5-years’ experience as an apartment maintenance technician · Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office · Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification desired (or willing to get) · EPA Certified for air conditioning desired (or willing to get) · Knowledge of Fair Housing requirements · Strong oral communication skills · Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation DESIRED SKILLS · Apartment maintenance (leaky faucets, running toilets, etc.) · Troubleshooting · Dry wall repair and painting · Basic electrical repairs · Basic plumbing repairs · Boiler heating system repair (zone valves, thermostats, etc.) · Cabinet/counter replacement · Tile work · Appliance repair COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS · Competitive salary dependent on qualifications · Health, vision and dental benefits · Paid holidays · Paid sick leave · Paid vacation leave · Discounted rent (onsite living not required) Job Type: Full-time
