The landscape crew leader is an experienced employee in construction, basic electricity, basic plumbing, and works with minimal supervision. This position directs the activities of a crew of two or more in the construction of paver patios, retaining walls, low-voltage lighting and water features. We hire from other industries as well such as general labor, window cleaners, power washers, landscapers, lawn maintenance, lawn care, roofers, roofer contractors, carpet cleaners, and many more. Installs water features. Installs low-voltage landscape lighting. Reads landscape design and Hardscape plans. Understands elevations and uses this knowledge to execute the BluePrint. Operates, proficiently, a variety of mechanical equipment, including skid steers, backhoes, mini-skid steers, plate compactors, drills, and jackhammers. Some Job Requirements: Valid Driver License GED or HS Diploma Speak and read English Authorized to work in the USA Able to physically handle all landscaping tasks, driving tasks and all other tasks required Smartphone with Data Plan Able to move equipment and lift at least 50 pounds Ability to drive a truck and pull a trailer Direct Deposit Paycheck This position requires that the individual be certified and licensed as follows: Obtaining a Basic Level Contractor Certification (ICPI) within one year of accepting this position.
