Researching a potential new way to help people with COPD
We are looking for volunteers to take part in a clinical research study, called the RPL554-CO-301 Study, which can help us learn more about an investigational medication for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). COPD is a group of lung diseases, including emphysema and chronic bronchitis.
This study is looking at how safe the investigational medication is and whether it works for people with moderate-to-severe COPD. The study will help us learn whether the investigational medication is able to improve your breathing and reduce symptoms by decreasing swelling and widening the airways of the lungs in a single medication.
Are you able to help?
You may be able to take part in the RPL554-CO-301 Study if you:
● are 40–80 years of age
● have been diagnosed with COPD
● have been, or currently are, a cigarette smoker.
The study will last for up to 54 weeks and will require up to 7 visits to the study center and 4 telephone calls. Your health will be monitored carefully by a team of doctors and nurses throughout the study. All study-related medications and assessments will be provided at no cost to you.
Please contact the study team today if you are interested in taking part in the RPL554-CO-301 Study or would like to know more about the study. By contacting us, you are under no obligation to take part in the study. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
