Press release from Cincinnati Public Schools:
April 28, 2021
For the 2020-2021 school year, the M.O.R.E. Program decided to complete research projects about African Americans throughout the history of the United States.
These projects allowed for the M.O.R.E. students to use their skills, resources and "out of the box" thinking to research and put together a project during a pandemic. The projects were not limited to people, they included: time periods, evolution of certain aspects of occupations, and many more. These projects allowed for great dialogue between M.O.R.E. students that increased their knowledge about the contributions of the African American person in our history.
