Hey y'all! My name's Ashton, I'm 20, I've been playing guitar and bass for 8 years. I've played a lot and I have a lot of experience of everything involving the music scene. I've played 100+ gigs, been in lots of bands, recorded music, done the marketing parts (social media, contacting venues, etc.), been a roadie, I have plenty of gear, and I'm very punctual and communicative. But that doesn't mean I won't play with people of varying skill levels, I just love playing music and I will literally jam with just about anyone. I don't do drama or gossip, I'm open to substance use, as long as it doesn't impede on one's ability to show up (on time), or their ability to perform. I know a good rehearsal space that's pretty cheap just in case. I'm pretty open on genres. I've played a lot of different styles, but obviously not all styles. Tejano and jazz I have almost 0 experience with, but I'm a quick learner. My own favorite artists/genres include, grunge, classic punk and newer punk (like rise against, rancid), classic metal like iron maiden and motley crue, a lot of pop like 80s synth stuff and new pop like billie eilish and Adele. I love the staple classic rock stuff, from the 60s and 70s, and I like a lot of old blues. My favorite musician/composer of all time is Beethoven though. I'm open to playing with just about anyone, of any age. The main thing that matters to me is respect, as long as you're respectful to me, I'll be respectful to you. If you reach out, no matter what you're going for (acoustic duo/trio, metal band, cover band, literally anything) I will respond (unless you call, please don't call me) and i'll always be down to give anything a shot.
