Looking to rehome my Canadian red tail boa. Her name is Tesla, and She is about 8 feet in length. I am moving out of state and don’t have room to bring her. The story of how I got her was I was just supposed to be taking care of her while my sisters friend was moving into a new place. Well, this friend never came in contact again. She was only about 3 feet in length when I got her, she didn’t even have a heat lamp and was extremely agitated, striking at the cage whenever someone would walk by. I am experienced with reptiles so with proper care she became very calm and grew QUICKLY. She is friendly, you can take her out, my kids hold her (with help, she is very heavy) and she seems to have finally stopped growing. I do not know how old she is, I have had her for 4 years where she grew from 3ft-8ft in that time. Her enclosure is 6ft 2inches long, 1ft 11in tall, and 1 & 1/2 ft wide. Experience is a MUST. I will not just give her to anyone! I am very sad to let her go, but she was not something I was prepared to take on forever..although I wish I could. Rehoming fee will be discussed privately. Thank you for your interest. And again, experience is a MUST. She needs to go to a fantastic home where she will get so much love, as she came from neglect before my family.
