PrimeCo is seeking highly motivated Carpenters! Responsible for assisting the project leader with various construction activities at job sites throughout San Diego County. About us: PrimeCo is headquarters are based in Oceanside, CA and performs a variety of repair and remodel services for residential clients. We are licensed General Contractors and expect our teams to be skilled across many trades. We are expanding and looking for a Carpenters who will train with a skilled Contractor and expand the trades that they are skilled at. We specialize in wood inspection and documentation, wood replacement, fabrication and welding, major stucco repair, composite material installation, siding repair and replacement, and deck repair and coatings. What we offer: • Bi-weekly payroll schedule edule • Medical Insurance- Kaiser & MediExcel • Dental Insurance • 401(k) Plan • Paid sick time Desired work experience in: • Fascia • Siding • Stucco • Wood Replacement Examples of jobs the Carpenter will perform: • Build scaffolds or ladders for assembling structures above ground levels • Remove damage or defective parts of sections of structures and repair or replace using hand tools • Install structures or fixtures, such as windows, frames, trim, or hardware, using carpenter's hand or power tools • Finish surfaces of woodwork or wallboard in houses or buildings, using paint, hand tools, or paneling • Anchor or brace wooden structures, frameworks, or forms • Apply adhesive, caulking, sealants, or coatings • Attach moisture barrier sheets over construction surfaces • Build or repair structures in construction, repair, or manufacturing setting • Clean and prepare surfaces for applications of plaster, cement, stucco, or similar materials, such as by drywall taping • Cure fresh plastered surfaces • Install guide wires on exterior surfaces of buildings to indicate thickness of plaster or stucco, and nail wire mesh, lath, or similar materials to the outside surface to hold stucco in place • Mix mortar and plaster to desired consistency or direct workers who perform mixing • Apply coats of plaster or stucco to walls, ceilings, or partitions of buildings, using trowels, brushes, or spray guns • Apply weatherproof, decorative coverings to exterior surfaces of buildings, such as troweling or spraying on coats of stucco • Door installation • Demolition • Residential Framing • Floors including fill and finish work • Deck Repair and Installation • Picking up materials • Moving equipment • Cleaning up the job site Qualifications for the Carpenter: • Minimum 2 years (preferred, but not required) of carpentry experience in construction, maintenance and repair procedures, and installation techniques. • Waterproofing highly desired (not required) (Westcoat, Inderacoat, CIM) • Own hand tools & power tools • Must have reliable transportation • Lift and/or pull 75lbs., climb up to 20 ft extension ladders, work off ladders • Ability to maintain a standing position for extended periods of time, fully squat, bend or kneel while wearing a tool belt • Construction work boots (OSHA requirement) Copy & Paste Link to Apply: PrimeCo participates in E-Verify.
