Job Summary: Family Health Centers of San Diego (FHCSD) is looking for a Facility Engineer to monitor all Covid-19 Vaccination sites to ensure the Physical Facility is in good working order related to all cooling units, table, chairs, tents, electrical cords. Additionally, the Facility Engineer will address any requests related to operational issues. Responsibilities: *Install all equipment required to maintain a functioning Covid-19 vaccination tent site related to tents, tables, chairs, cooling equipment, temporary electrical system. *Identify all safety items that could affect Covid-19 vaccination patients, such as trip hazards. *Diagnose electrical problems that may arise with the patient check-in related to properly connecting IT equipment to the Physical Facilities electrical grid. *Oversee the cleaning team that services the Covid-19 vaccination site to ensure Physical Facilities are clean and free of any possible accidents to patients. *Ensure that supplies are replenished at the Porta Potty units that are placed for Covid-19 patient convenience at the sites and ensure cleanliness of each unit. *Set up all furniture and equipment at all Covid-19 vaccination sites to ensure proper seating for patients and safe and clean environment for the staff. *Lock up all furniture and stow equipment on a nightly basis for all Covid vaccination sites to reduce possibility of thefts or vandalism. *Perform all necessary repairs to tents, etc. at all Covid-19 vaccination sites to ensure equipment is in proper working condition. *Grant funded program. This position is funded through 03/31/2023; continuation of employment is dependent upon availability of and/or renewed funding. *Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: *Experience in building repairs and maintenance. *Must have a reliable truck or utility van and hand tools. *Ability and means to travel as needed in a timely manner within San Diego County, to locations that may have limited access to public transportation; proof of liability and property damage insurance on vehicle used is required. DRIVER REQUIREMENTS: Age 21; Licensed for a minimum of 3 years; No violations and/or accidents within 3 years; No vehicle related suspensions/reinstatements; No DUI, reckless or felony Driving within 7 years. *2+ years in hands-on facilities experience preferred.
