Description
Looking for some players, anywhere on the gender or age continuum, for some mostly (but not 100% exclusively) acoustic music making. I'm an experienced player, many CD's of original music, played lots of solo and band gigs. I play guitar, some mando, some harp, and sing. I gig solo playing as much of my own material as I can.
This wouldn't have to be all my material, but not looking to try to sound like the Beatles, Eagles, or whoever when we do covers. Certainly open to your songs as well. Really not much into classic rock. I play blues, country, a bit of bluegrass, rock and whatever else I can get away with. Creativity is way more important than an accurate copy, in my mind. Hoping to meet some new players, have some fun. Make some cool music. Get discovered, get famous, then self destruct and crash in a money bonfire. It could happen.
So, whaddaya got? Banjo? Mandolin? Upright? Fiddle? Accordion? Clarinet? Cello? Something I haven't thought of? I could even tolerate another guitar player. Thinking not a full kit, but maybe percussionist? I'm in Kent with a place to play. Gotta be vaccinated.
Would love to get a link to hear you first. I'll be happy to send the same.
Hope you like the pheasant mosaic pic. Has nothing to do with this post, but hoping to screen out anyone without a sense of humor.
