The Building Maintenance Technician will take direction from the Community Manager to maintain and carry out the maintenance and care of the building, equipment, and surroundings. Responsibilities and Duties: • Conducts the general maintenance of the interior and exterior of the building by performing routine inspections in all common areas for repairs to include but not limited to painting, drain system cleaning, replace HVAC filters in common areas and other related maintenance activities. • Monitors and oversees the building systems and their components for the purpose of identifying necessary repairs in conjunction with certified vendors as appropriate. • Responsible for cleaning of all common areas, lobby windows and trash removal. • Encourages a safe working environment and ensures compliance with OSHA requirements. • Other duties as assigned by the Community Manager. Qualification, Expectations & Skills: • (2) years of related work experience • Excellent communication skills, detail oriented and ability to prioritize multiple tasks. • The candidate must be trustworthy, professional, reliable, friendly, and have a proactive mindset.
