JOB Skilled Roofer Requirements • Ability to install per manufactures specifications APP Torch, Asphalt Shingles, Concrete Tile and Clay Tile roofs. • Ability to apply roof mortar, bird stop, solite, O’Hagin roof vents, skylights, solar tubes, flashing details and more. • Ability to recognize improperly installed, damaged or degraded roofing materials to include rotting wood, termite damage, water stains, over exposed tiles, aged shingles, wind and impact damage, storm damage, improper material applications on low slope roofs or any other deficiencies. • 5-10 years of experience as a skilled roofer. • Ability to communicate with homeowners, crew leads and management. • Preferred ability to speak both English and Spanish • Ability to pass on knowledge to lower level employees through teaching and instruction. • Ability and experience installing standing seim concealed fastener system. • Ability to install roofing, TPO, Shingle and PVC. The type of person who takes pride in their work and is accountable for the work they produce. We expect that an employee be available Monday through Friday for a minimum of a 40 hour work week. This position also comes with the expectation that you take on a leadership position. Control the jobsites you are actively working on, providing your knowledge and experience to less experienced coworkers and maintaining quality workmanship within a timely manner while maintaining proper safety practices.
