Seeking Keys/Synth musician to fill out horns/bass/drums local group.
With the social and entertainment opening of the economy set to significantly ramp, if now is not the time for a new project I don't know when is.
A) You: Professional positive attitude towards all aspects of being part of a group. At least 3 years of solid gig experience. Committed to practicing before rehearsals, and rehearsals before gigs. Read charts. Have all required equipment and reliable transportation.
B) Musical content: Targeted gigs for private party and corporate events. Solid track record of getting these gigs with consistent positive feedback. Musical content about 50%/50% of: Straight ahead Jazz standards (bop/swing/Latin) '60's/'70's R and B; Funk; very selective pop old and new.
C) Committed to regular rehearsals for tunes that have not been played as a group previously. Rehearsals in North Cty but flexible to go central county if needed.
D) Depending on the gig: Quartet (drums, bass, keys, trumpet) and at times a quintet with either two horns or added lead guitar.
E) Nothing is asked of any band member in terms of $. Leader provides most charts that members may not have.
