Located in Salem, we are a year-round, full-service landscaping company looking for a full-time Maintenance Foreman for our Salem-based maintenance teams. Duties include managing maintenance crews and working directly onsite with maintenance team members, performing maintenance job duties. This is not an office position. Daily job will entail directly working in the field on customer properties and managing/directing crew member progress. There is room for growth from this position in terms of pay, responsibilities and title. Job Requirements (no exceptions): - Valid driver's license and clean driving record - Ability to work in any weather condition - Ability to perform manual labor tasks on an on-going, daily basis - Full-time schedule availability with seasonal OT availability - Proven history of ability to manage crew members, schedules, projects Required Job Skills (2 years min working knowledge): - All phases of maintenance including - mowing, edging, hand pruning, shearing, weeding, raking, leaf clean-up, irrigation, fertilizer application, and other necessary duties - Proper operation of various types of maintenance equipment using safe practices (mowers, edger's, blowers, hedge trimmers, pruners, and hand tools) - Training of crew members in all aspects of ongoing maintenance practices If you're just looking to punch a time clock, we are not the company for you.
