Job Description Job Description THIS IS A TRAVELING MERCHANDISER POSITION PAID DRIVE TIME + TRAVEL ALLOWANCE YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO TRAVEL OUT OF STATE TRAVEL PARTNERS RECOMMENDED BUT NOT REQUIRED We are looking for experienced motivated workers to help supply needed merchandising and remodel support to a major area retailer. We have multiple positions to fill. WORK WITH YOUR FRIEND/SPOUSE Referral BONUSES will be given! Little to no experience required, on site training will be provided. Potential for advancement. Drive time and weekly travel allowance provided. Responsibilities of a Traveling Merchandiser - Offload freight - Stock merchandise - Cleaning and zoning shelves and fixtures - Perform duties in a timely and efficient manner - Provide excellent customer service - Other merchandising activities as required - Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures - Will include working in Ambient and Non-Ambient control areas - Could include working in On-site Connex Trailers - Cleaning of Gondola/Sales Floor fixtures in building - Building/Disassembling of fixtures and related items - Modular work/Resetting - Lifting 50lbs, bending, twisting, standing for long periods of time, continual use of hands and arms Qualifications of a Traveling Merchandiser -Have reliable transportation -Must be able to work an 8 hour shift -Must be able to communicate effectively with others -Flexibility to participate in team scheduled tasks -Must be able to speak and hear -Must be able to walk, stoop, kneel, reach, pull, grasp and stand on a daily basis -Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time -Must have good vision, dexterous use of both hands and be able to operate a pallet jack, hammer, screwdriver, drill and case cutter -Adhere to dress code: Khaki pants, a black polo shirt, nothing baggy or tight fitting, no hats, head wraps or other head gear -Ability to read and understand bar codes is a plus -US Citizen or Green Card holder-Valid drivers license or photo ID -Ability to pass a background check and/or drug screening - Expect downtime over the Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Years holidays.
