Overview: Metal fabrication company located in Oxnard is seeking a motivated individual with packing and shipping experience that is also comfortable using a variety of powered hand tools. This is an entry-level role at a growing company, there will be opportunities for advancement and to learn additional skills. Ideal candidate will be generally mechanically inclined and a person with a can do attitude. Must have reliable transportation, able to lift up to 70 pounds, familiar with tape measure and hand tools. Responsibilities: Package/pack parts for outgoing shipments; Label and package parts for outgoing shipments; Create pack slips and audit outgoing shipments for accuracy; Use computer applications to create shipping labels for parcel and freight shipments; Receive deliveries and verify counts against packing slips; Build wooden crates for outgoing shipments; Help in other manufacturing areas as needed. Requirements: Reliable transportation; Able to lift of up to 70 pounds; Familiar with power tools such as drill presses and grinders; Solid written and verbal English communication skills. Position will require standing for extended periods, lifting of up to 70 pounds, and regular squatting, kneeling, climbing, and walking. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40 hours plus per week Perks: Medical, Dental, Holiday, Sick Pay and Vacation
