We are diversified livestock farm focusing on eggs, broilers, pork, and beef. Our main product is eggs from over 2,000 hens, which we market from Burlington to Boston. We feed only certified organic grain. Our hens are pastured in the summer and kept on bedded pack in the winter. We are expanding into broiler production this year, and will begin our Organic Certification process later this year. We are looking for someone to join our crew as our first full time employee. Basic responsibilities include daily livestock chores, egg washing, fencing, moving animals, and helping with farm building projects. The ideal candidate should: Have some previous farming experience Be comfortable interacting with a variety of farm animals Be able to work both solo and in groups Be willing to learn, but also confident to take initiative with tasks Be able to work long hours on your feet, lift 50 lbs Have some familiarity with tools Willingness to work weekend hours We are willing to train the right candidate regardless of experience!
