Site Restoration Crew Member Location: Rapid City, SD Reports To: Crew Foreman Overview: Work with the crew and site supervisor to prepare the site for the installation of underground utilities and restore the site to new condition after underground utilities are installed. Duties include but are not limited to removing rock, fabric and topsoil as directed and restoring site by installing and compacting topsoil, stone, mulch, erosion control, hydroseeding and minor hardscape features disturbed during the utility installation process. Job Duties: * Drive equipment and job materials to the site and stage as needed. * Setting up safety perimeter using signage, cones and safety barriers. * Assist in potholing and remediation with hydro-vac excavators. * Assist with setting hand holes and completing tie ins. * Assist with backfilling trenches with the use of tampers and jumping jacks. * Restore topsoil and install stone, mulch, erosion control and minor hardscape features * Assist with the use of Hydro seeder * Clean up site of debris. * Clean, check fluid levels and conduct a visual inspection of vehicle and equipment. * Comply with safety procedures while driving and performing work at the job site. Qualifications: * A valid Driver’s License * Basic knowledge and ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively. * Ability to travel * Ability to obtain a Class A Commercial Driver’s License * Ability to work in adverse weather conditions. * Lift up to 75 pounds Company: ANCO Underground specializes in Utility Installation, Civil Construction and Fiber Optic Splicing throughout the Midwest and Mountain Region.
