Description

Location: Rapid City, SD Reports To: Crew Foreman Overview: Work with the crew and site supervisor with the installation of underground utilities, foundations, flat work and access roads. Job Duties: * Drive equipment and job materials to the site and stage as needed. * Excavate foundations in various terrains & soil conditions using heavy machinery. * Assist with the installation of rebar cages in accordance with site drawings. * Assist with the installation of concrete foundations, flatwork and finishing. * Backfilling foundations and trenches to include compaction testing. * Restore topsoil and install stone, mulch, erosion control and minor hardscape features * Assist with the installation of site access roads to include compaction. * Clean up site of debris. * Clean, check fluid levels and conduct a visual inspection of vehicle and equipment. * Comply with safety procedures while driving and performing work at the job site. Qualifications: * A valid Driver’s License * Basic knowledge and ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively. * Ability to travel * Ability to obtain a Class A Commercial Driver’s License * Ability to work in adverse weather conditions. * Lift up to 75 pounds Company: ANCO Underground specializes in Utility Installation, Civil Construction and Fiber Optic Splicing throughout the Midwest and Mountain Region.
