Need help moving to North Carolina: I need someone who has a truck and who is willing to help me move from Ambler, PA to Charlotte, NC. I would be paying $33/hour with a guarantee minimum of $500 plus the cost of gas to the destination (one way only!) and $.22 per mile to cover maintenance costs for your truck. I prefer someone who has some experience moving and has some basic tools. This moving gig would be a minimum of 14 hours. The commute is almost 9 hours to the destination and then it's just moving and setting things up. It's a very easy move! The actual time moving is probably around 4 hours, the rest is just driving to the destination. If you wanted to stay over for a night in Charlotte I would split the cost of a hotel room as an added incentive and then you could drive back the following morning. *I would prefer hiring someone who lives in Montgomery County! RECAP: The pay is $33 per hour with a guarantee minimum of $500 plus $.22 per mile to cover maintenance costs for your truck. I would pay the cost of your gas to the destination and if you want to stay over in Charlotte I will split the cost of your hotel room. Then you could drive back in the morning. To put the compensation in perspective.. You could walk away with around $700 plus I would cover your gas to the destination and split the cost of your hotel room with you if you choose to stay over for the night. If you do a good job for me I will include a tip! This is a little bit of an unusual moving situation but it is an opportunity to earn some $$ cash money, especially in these times.
