Our busy mechanical service and repair facility located in beautiful Huntington Beach is looking for a junior service advisor scribe. Job Duties / Responsibilities • Greet and check in mechanical guests • Listen with concern and work with senior advisor to write up work order and enter it into our shop management system • Provide timely updates to guest on their repair status • Contact the guest with technician diagnosis and obtain financial authorizations. • Work with technicians to obtain electronic inspections • Answer phones and schedule appointments • Coordinate rentals and provide shuttle rides to guest • Back up front office staff Our perfect candidate will; • Have 1 year service advisor skills • Automotive knowledge and general understanding of how cars work and are repaired • Be able to accommodate a full time schedule • Be skilled to work in a fast paced environment • Empathetic and customer service focused • Be able to make quick decisions that work in the best interest of both the shop and the guest • Have superior customer service phone skills • Stamina for long days on your feet and under cars • Tech savvy Benefits of working for us include • A management team that wants you to succeed and grow • Financial strength and longevity in the industry • Excellent benefits including medical, dental, life insurance, disability, 401K • Paid Time Off plan • World Class training center on site! • Paid Training • Uniform Service • We are a drug free workplace
