Why is it that everyone close to Trump is a criminal?

I have never seen any person who is surrounded by more criminals and criminal activity than Donald Trump. The list of Trump’s friends and associates who are under investigation, have been convicted, are in prison, are accused of sex crimes and white collar crimes is endless. Donnie boy appears to be floating on a raft in the center of a giant cesspool / swamp of sewage. No person in U.S. history has had more lawsuits filed against them than old Donald. Most americans have never been sued even once. Trump has been sued hundreds perhaps even a thousand times. That does not happen to honest people.
