Pool Service and Repair Technician Texas Pools has been designing and building top-tier swimming pools since 1980. Technically challenging, creative, complex designs are our specialty. About ten years ago Texas Pools started a pool repair and high-end weekly maintenance division at the request of our construction clients. Since that time, we have grown to approx. 285 regular weekly clients in the Houston Metro and Montgomery county areas. We are currently seeking a Service and Repair Technician to join our team of fun and driven professionals whose primary responsibility is to diagnose and repair electrical and plumbing components of swimming pools. Already having an RAI license and being a Certified Service Technician are ideal but not required for the right candidate. Being able to take good written notes and communicate professionally and effectively with clients and the office team are required.Candidates should have at least 3+ years of direct hands-on experience in repairing pool equipment, fountains and water features, troubleshooting, pool plumbing (including in-floor cleaning systems), electrical components, and pool plaster knowledge including PebbleTec. A knowledge of pool chemistry is a plus. Ideal candidates will be able to effectively communicate with fellow staff, subcontractors and clients on a daily basis, have a positive team attitude, be able to effectively manage time and supplies while prioritizing client needs and communication under tight deadlines. A professional appearance is required. Working on Saturdays may be required if the work schedule necessitates.Compensation is commensurate with experience. Must have and maintain a clean driving record, pass a background check and drug screening.
