Skilled Construction Professional Needed - Working Foreman Get Real Surfaces (www.getrealsurfaces.com), an established architectural concrete company, is seeking employees to join our diverse team. This is a long term job opportunity with potential for career development and increased pay. We are willing to train dedicated individuals. This is a full time position (40-60 hours) that requires overtime and daily paid travel to NYC. Typical start time is 5:00 am; 10-12 hour days; occasional shift work (includes pay differential.) Required skills include: Construction, Masonry (pouring/placing/polishing concrete), Carpentry, and/or Electrical experience. Ability to communicate clearly, read architectural drawings, manage & supervise construction crews. Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies Knowledge of first aid and applicable safety precautions Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely Ability to lift heavy objects and load/unload trucks Must be able to comply with safety, quality and technical protocols Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to work with others of diverse backgrounds and levels of authority OSHA Certification desired Benefits include: medical, dental, and 401k. 10 paid holidays, company insurance contribution, paid travel time, paid training and overtime pay.
