Black Fluffy Dog

Grand Island NY

Description

My partner is attending his friend's wedding this week and brought two of our dogs with him while I am at our home in Wisconsin tending to our litter of puppies. Both got loose, but one is still missing. I believe they got loose near the new solar farm at Stony Point Road - partner hasn't given too much context yet as he is trudging through the woods right now. Name: NETTLE Breed: Australian Shepherd Lost on Grand Island, NY near solar farm. Male (Intact) Black with brown brindle on his legs and some on his face (eyebrows, cheeks) and a small white dash on his chest and on his chin. He has a nub for a tail. He is wearing a seatbelt buckle collar that is black with a green EKG heart line - he does have tags on, but should they come off, expect the collar to stay intact. He is fully vaccinated and he is in training to be a service animal. Not a mean bone in his body, loves and adores people, but sometimes loud sounds can spook him still. He adores people, but is a submissive dog, so any yelling or frantic voices calling for him will not likely be successful in getting him to approach somebody. I anticipate he would gladly come to his name if called. He isn't one that is super excited about food, so if found, don't be alarmed if he snubs food if offered. He also may willingly jump into someone's car if asked to "hop in!" While we can only hope for a safe return of Nettle, should someone come across a black fluffy animal that was hit by a car, please check to see if it was our boy... We need to know and if hit and still alive, please take him to any vet and contact us right away as we will do what we can to pull him through! Contact can be made by call or text, email, or through my facebook page at https://facebook.com/gearsk9savinglives
