Jackie Frederick-Berner is a mindfulness meditation teacher. Her instruction is grounded in the neuroscience behind the mind-body connection and the belief that, when we calm our bodies, we calm our minds (and vice versa). She is trained in the Shambala Buddhist tradition which takes a contemporary, secular approach to meditation. As a lover and seller of clean wines, Jackie’s mindful wine tastings embrace the same sensory experiences that are honed during meditation –smell, sight, sound, taste and feel. By opening up all of our senses, we can fully appreciate and connect to the present moment –whether sitting in mediation or enjoying a glass of delicious, organic wine.
