Join Columbus Gives Back and Equitas Health distributing COVID-19 vaccine info in the King-Lincoln District! Our friends at Equitas Health are seeking awesome volunteers (like you!) to distribute door hangers in the King-Lincoln district, informing our neighbors that COVID-19 vaccine appointments are available at the Equitas Health Pharmacy. Where: Equitas Health Medical Center - 705 East Long St. Convenient parking is available! When: Saturday, May 15th(9:00am - 12:00pm) Event Leaders: [email protected] COVID-19 Precautions: All Columbus Gives Back volunteers are required to wear face masks and observe social distancing as appropriate to complete volunteer tasks. Volunteers who are sick, especially with fever or the growing number of Covid-19 symptoms, should stay home. We highly recommend that our volunteers wash their hands, use hand sanitizer at the beginning and end of the event, and/or wear gloves. We will follow whatever safety policy our nonprofit partners have in addition to the safety precautions listed above. Any volunteers determined to neglect these precautions and put other volunteers or the people we serve at risk will be dismissed from the event. In an effort to keep our volunteers, event leaders, and non-profit partners safe we ask that each volunteer or event leader sign up for no more than one event in a seven-day period, in order to limit the number of individuals you come into contact with if you are exposed to Covid-19. If you were exposed before or test positive after having participated in a CGB event, please contact the event leader or reach out to [email protected] so that we can best support contact tracing efforts.
