An educational program about the garden benefits of compost tea. A pint of beer or glass of wine and a compost tea sample included. Join us for an evening of compost tea at the Table Public House. The Table has partnered with CommuniTEA, llc to brew aerated compost tea available for purchase. CommuniTEA, llc founder, Barbara Fricks, will speak on the benefits of aerated compost tea in organic agriculture. Barbara has a background in microbial ecology and nutrient cycling with a Masters in Soil Science from Penn State University. The talk will be followed by a live demonstration of what we have growing under the microscope and Q&A session. Your $10 ticket will get you a free glass of beer/wine, access to the talk, and a free sample of compost tea (up to 1 gallon depending on availability). Bring your own container for a compost tea sample.
