We are looking for a Shift Lead for our Rider Teams in NYC. You will manage: Onsite management: Making sure our Rider teams are on time and ready to work Onsite Equipment monitoring: Charging batteries and keeping track of Ebikes Onsite Energy: Ensuring a collegial, safe and motivating atmosphere in the warehouse Riders are at the heart of everything we do. As one of the early members of Gorillas, you will have a crucial role in managing the Rider day to day experience and ensuring they have the right equipment and support on the ground to service our customers. Your responsibilities: Maintaining a safe, positive, motivating culture for all riders in the warehouse during their shift Hold riders accountable for showing up & showing up on time wearing the right gear; reporting if not & backfilling shifts last minute if any no-shows Manning the warehouse to help riders with questions / issues, etc. during their shift (gear needs, rider incidents, accidents, wrong address, etc.) Monitoring bike batteries for safety, changing out batteries when bikes are low on charge Assigning riders to deliveries Calculating e-bikes uptime & recording when bikes are broken Pitching in & doing rides when needed :) Requirements Your profile: 18+ years old Previous experience in bike delivery a plus An ability to work and engage with a team of delivery personnel Experience maintaining bikes a plus Strong communication skills What we offer: Healthcare, dental, vision insurance coverage & other supplemental benefits.
