Busy specialty food importer located in Miami, FL is seeking a self-motivated, organized office assistant to grow with us in our expanding business. Job Duties Include: • Data Entry, including receiving orders, creating invoices and printing shipping labels • Managing various EDI platforms for order processing • Answering phones • General office duties, including light filing, reports, entering customer payments, customer service, answering emails, prepare deposits. • Performs other admin duties as assigned Required Skills: • Strong computer proficiency and ability to adapt to different systems/platforms • Microsoft Office experience a must • Quickbooks experienced preferred • Basic typing skills a must • Strong organizational skills a must • Ability to communicate with customers, vendors and salespersons in a professional manner • Familiarity with FedEx and UPS shipping systems preferred • Ability to multitask and move quickly between different tasks in fast paced environment • Time managements a must • High School Diploma or equivalent • Food lover, gourmet cook or previous food service experience a plus Position offers competitive pay and opportunity for growth in small, casual office environment. Job hours: F/T (40 hrs/wk; 7:00am-3:30pm; Monday through Friday) Position must be filled ASAP. Qualified candidates should apply with resume and cover letter.
