Join Food Connects and Wild Carrot Farm for a hands-on mushroom cultivation workshop this spring! Participants will learn about the logs, tools, and spores needed for growing mushrooms, where to site your mushroom logs, and how to care for them. Curriculum and classroom tie-in suggestions will also be provided.
At the end of the workshop, each participant will take home (or to school) an inoculated oyster log and shiitake log.
This workshop will take place outdoors and masks and social distancing will be required.
This workshop will be taught by Jesse Kayan.
