Description

Sorting donated inventory and making clothing kits for children in need in Chicago Volunteers play a critical role at the Sharehouse by helping sort and inventory donations of baby and toddler essentials for children in need across Chicago. Volunteering at the Sharehouse is family-friendly! We have lots of fun and engaging activities for our littlest volunteers. Activities include making cards, sorting clothes, and doing quality checks on toys and books. Volunteers must be at least 6 years old. There must be at least one adult for every two children between the ages of 6 and 10. A ticket must be purchased for all children. IMPORTANT COVID UPDATES PLEASE READ: To ensure the safety of all volunteers and our families we require all volunteers wear a mask and gloves while working in our Sharehouse. Gloves will be provided. All volunteer sessions are limited to 5 volunteers to ensure proper social distancing. Thank you for your understanding as we begin to reopen the Sharehouse to volunteers.
