Learn how to dance on rollerskates! This is a basic beginner rollerdance class. We will do a warm-up, then learn a few basic dance steps and tricks. Then we will put those steps together and learn a short choreography!
You will need to know how to rollerskate. Must be able to maintain good coordination and balance, know how to slow down, stop, and speed up with control. Must know how to fall safely. This is skate at your own risk 🙂
BYOS! (Bring your own skates!) Please bring safety gear such as wrist guards and knee pads if you are new to rollerdancing and/or if it makes you comfortable. Masks are optional since this is outdoors.
This is located at Ortega Elementary School, in the playground behind school. Theres a little smooth concrete court under a pavilion in the school yard. It's open to the public, so there could possibly be people using the court, but it's usually not occupied! It's in a residential neighborhood.
