Self-care as an act of Self-love is a workshop designed by empowered women to empower women
Possibilities and potential benefits of participating in the Self-care as Self-love workshop:
● Acceptance of where we are within our own individual journeys,
● The courage and strength to tell your story,
● Loving and accepting yourself regardless of what your story is,
● A sense of connection and community gained from sharing and vulnerability,
● Understanding the consequences of neglecting self-care,
● Learning from each other’s experiences and wisdom,
● Feeling empowered wholeheartedly to be yourself,
● Turning strangers into friends,
● The opportunity to expand your circle of support,
● Genuinely listening and being listened to without judgment, shame or guilt; hearing where a woman is, what they’re going through and then acknowledging them wherever there are in their life today, not their past,
● Intergenerational reflection and insights, learning from each other,
● Addressing people pleasing and shame as it relates to a performance-based value system,
● Social support and accountability toward self-care and self-love goals (3-month follow-up Zoom),
● Create a visual expression of yourself that will serve as a visual cue of goals for growth and to be placed in your self-identified sacred space,
● Gratitude for your capacity and strengths.
