Description
MVFMC Outside Worship Together Service Praise the Lord for providing the opportunity to worship together in an Outdoor environment ! In order to guard the health and safety of all those in attendance, there are a few guidelines that have been implemented for the in-person worship service this week. Many of these guidelines are requirements of the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, some specifically for religious services. Please read our guidelines carefully and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. 1. People identified as high risk should remain at home, worshiping with us through live-streaming. Higher risk population includes: people who are non-vaccinated, 65+ years old, pregnant women, individuals with underlying health conditions, people who have weakened immune systems, and anyone exhibiting any sickness symptoms (fever, coughing, sore throat, etc.). 2. Health Check. Prior to entering, you will be required to have your temperature taken, and you will be asked if you are experiencing any symptoms of illness, such as fever/chills, cough, shortness of breath/difficulty breathing, muscle/body aches, or sudden loss of smell or taste. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, please do not attend the worship service in-person. 3. Face Coverings, Physical Distancing, & General Hygiene. Face coverings will be required at all times for anyone age 2 and older when you are on the Mission Valley campus. In addition, please try to remain 6 feet apart from those who are not living in your immediate household. Unfortunately, this means we will need to refrain from hugging, shaking hands, fist-bumping, etc. Hand sanitizer will be available at the check-in table and in the entryway to the restrooms. The restrooms in the Fellowship Hall will be available. Please be sure to wash your hands for 20 seconds with soap and water. 4. Parking & Other Signs. Just like we will be practicing physical distancing, our cars will be practicing it too! Please keep an empty space between your car and the car next to you. Spaces will be blocked off to help you remember this. Please enter the parking lot using the main entrance from San Gabriel Blvd. The Chestnut Ave. entrance will be closed. Look for parking attendants to direct you. Handicap parking will also be available if needed. 5. Seating. There will be marked areas for you and your immediate household group to sit. An usher will be happy to assist you. 6. Restrooms. The Fellowship Hall restrooms will be available and will be cleaned throughout the service. 7. Areas of Campus that are Closed. All other areas and buildings on the Mission Valley Campus are closed and off-limits. Please do not cross over, under, or go around any ropes or barriers or enter any spaces marked closed while on campus. One last thing, if you begin experiencing any of the symptoms listed in #1 above OR test positive for COVID-19 within 14 days of attending worship service in-person, please let us know as soon as possible, so we can implement our COVID-19 exposure procedures.
