NEW YORK CITY — More walk-in coronavirus vaccine shots are coming to New York City. Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced starting Thursday that all state-run mass vaccination sites — which include Javits Center and Yankee Stadium — will offer appointment-free doses for New Yorkers 16 and up. "You don't have to call, you don't have to make an appointment," he said. "Just show up and roll up your sleeve and the mass vaccination sites have the capacity to handle it," he continued. But their walk-in availability still lagged behind city-run vaccination sites, which the same week opened up appointment-free doses to all adult city dwellers.
