On Sunday, May 16 from noon to 2 p.m., Alpharettans are invited to Alpharetta City Center for its first-ever fashion show and brunch. On Sunday, May 16 from noon to 2 p.m., Alpharetta City Center (ACC) will host its first-ever “ACC Spring Fling,” a community-driven fashion show and brunch event designed to highlight the local, small business collection at the mixed-use destination in the heart of downtown Alpharetta. Tickets are $45 per person, which includes front row seating during the runway display, six food-tasting tickets and a swag bag. A portion of ticket proceeds will also be donated to North Fulton Community Charities. Throughout the event, ACC retailers and restaurants will showcase spring fashion trends and seasonal bites, while DJ Grace Lamour spins energetic tunes. At noon, the event begins with a tasting experience featuring brunch bites and beverages from ACC’s lineup of local, chef-driven restaurants, followed by the fashion show beginning around 1 p.m. The show will be curated and hosted by local Alpharettan Nancy Flaherty, co-founder and CEO of Grace in Paris, a personal shopping service. Each participating ACC retailer will present capsule collections of up to six looks in various categories, such as date night, vacation or loungewear. The runway and guest seating for the fashion show will stretch down Commerce Street, while restaurant pop-ups will be placed along Market Street. Tickets are available for 120 guests. Pod-style seating will be arranged along Commerce Street, with tables and chairs set up to accommodate up to seven people in each socially distanced pod. In compliance with the Centers for Disease Control’s COVID-19 guidelines, guests are encouraged to wear a mask at all times when not in their reserved seat, or while eating and drinking. Ticket entry will be contactless and hand sanitizer will be placed throughout the community spaces. Disclaimer: In line with the City of Alpharetta’s COVID-19 safety guidelines, COVID-positive cases must be less than 100 per 100,000 Alpharetta residents for two consecutive weeks leading up to any public event. If cases are more than 100 by May 12, we will have to cancel the show and provide refunds.
