Broski Ciderworks is proud to present our Cider Making Course with Nationally awarded Cider Maker and Founder: David Verdugo, PhD! This course is an introductory level course and will guide you through the process of fermentation, mixing and blending. The course has been divided into two parts due to the fermenting process. Please see course itinerary listed at the end of this post. Every attendee will receive their own set of required equipment to make cider, and will take home a gallon of their very own cider at the conclusion of the two-part course! With the purchase of this ticket you will be registered into BOTH parts of this Course. PART 1: Sat May 29th 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM PART 2: Sat Jun 5th 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM Every participant will also receive a complimentary craft cider at the end of each course, including a tasting of all ciders brewed by the students in the last course. Each participant will create their own cider, following Broski's principles and enter into a blind competition to award "Best Cider" in course. Winning cider will be brewed and spotlighted at the Taproom. Attendees will receive fermenting equipment, course book and all ingredients to learn and craft your very own cider. This course is great for friends, family and serves as great holiday gift for all Craft and Cider lovers. CIDER MAKING COURSE ITINERARYPART ONE: Saturday May 29th, 2021 10:00 am - 1:00 pm Course Description:- Types of juices- Types of yeasts - Fermentation Process- Temperature Control- Sanitation Practices- Facility Tour Practical Laboratory Work - Cider making:- Cider Production PART TWO: Saturday June 5th, 2021 10:00 am - 1:00 pm Course Description:- Mixing, Blending and Finishing Overview- Carbonation Control - Blending and Finishing- Sensory Guides- Group Tasting & Blind Judging- Certificates & Award Ceremony for "Best Cider" and "Most Creative Name. "Practical Laboratory Work - Cider making- Cider finishing- Blending Course- Cider Competition Must be 21 or older to participate. Course is limited to 12 attendees, must purchase course through Eventbrite. All sales will be closed one day before first course to ensure proper accommodations for participation. This ticket is only applicable for ONE guest, if you wish to have someone else join you they will have to purchase a separate ticket. **Due to space constraints we can only accept guests who have purchased a ticket, any other guest without a ticket will not be allowed entry to the course.
