SUMMIT, NJ — In a list of the average SAT scores for more than 300 high schools around New Jersey, Summit students came out on top. Summit High School came in at number 34 on the list of 307 high schools. The average score in Summit was 1218. The SAT is among the factors that determines where a student can get into college. A perfect score would be a combined 1600, or 800 in each of reading and math. Below is a list Patch put together of combined average scores of each school's district, ranked highest to lowest.
