The Pfizer vaccine is on its way to being approved for use in patients 12 to 15 years old, federal public health officials said.
Children's Colorado has made appointments available to those ages 16 and older who are eligible to receive the two-dose Pfizer vaccine at their Aurora and Colorado Springs facilities. You can register for the vaccine here.
More than 2.5 million Coloradans have received at least their first dose of the coronavirus vaccine, according to state data. More than 1.7 million — around 30 percent of the state's population — are fully immunized.
