Special Event Trailer Driver

The Water Cottage is seeking driver to tow portable restrooms. We are a boutique portable restroom company that custom builds and rents luxury restrooms to special events in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. Our deliveries take us to epic spots throughout wine country (Napa & Sonoma County), up and down the California Coast (Point Reyes, Bolinas, Half Moon Bay, Carmel, Big Sur), and beyond. Position: Part time/ Full time driver. The individual will be responsible for delivering, setting up, and breaking down restroom trailers. There is also maintenance work throughout the year on the trailers. Must have: Prior knowledge driving trucks and trailers Clean driving record A high school diploma or GED equivalent Knowledge of San Francisco Bay Area roads A safety-first attitude at all times, being aware of surroundings Strong attention to detail with problem solving ability in the field Proactive, go getter willing to do what it takes to get the job done right Professional attitude and presence, confident interacting with high end clientele and venues Ability and willingness to work longer days and weekends as needed (CA overtime compensated) especially in our busy season (April-Oct) Must have good communication and be respectful and courteous towards fellow crew and management Ability to lift 50-75 lbs., push 100 lbs., able to stand and work for extended periods, Additional Experience (a PLUS, not required): Knowledge of the portable restroom industry Handyman/ remodeling experience Special event and/or rental experience The nature of our business requires that we be timely not only to work but also be effective with time management in the field. You must be able to take instruction carefully and be able to execute tasks efficiently and with a high level of safety. The restroom deliveries are set up and broken down on tight timelines so you must be ready to work longer days and keep a positive attitude.
